After the film began to get better offers in movies like Urban Legend and Cruel Intentions. It wasn't American Pie the cult movie featuring sexually explicit teens that put Reid in the spotlight as a promising actress in Hollywood due to her character in the role of virgin Vicky. But none of this was enough to lead to a highly profitable Hollywood Career. The career of Reid was plagued with numerous failures, such as Josie and the Pussycats. She did get a role in American Pie 2 for a few minutes, but this didn't help her decline in career. Reid has more fame for her work as a fashion stylist as well as a party-goer as an actress than she does for her acting. It is due to her on-screen mistakes, publicized plastic surgeries, and other appearances that were blink-and-miss.
